Golf is available at Royal Dornoch (20 minutes away) or at any of the other 21 course in the area: the delightful 9 hole Bonar course is only 2 miles away. There are several mountain biking courses in the area and lots of quiet country roads to suit cyclists of all ages and experience.

Or you could just relax in Achue, read, have a drink, unwind and enjoy the fresh air, views and passing wildlife from the sun lounge. One visitor joked that he couldn’t sleep “because of the quiet”: other guests bring their telescope and enjoy the stars unaffected by any other lights.
